The youngest player to ever score a goal in the Premier League expressed his thanks for his time at Brentwood School as he received his GCSE results.

Max Dowman, who represents Arsenal, picked up his examination results on August 20 after finishing his secondary school studies at the institution.

In a statement, the footballer indicated he wanted to extend his appreciation to the school for everything it had provided during his attendance.

Although his time at the establishment was concluding ahead of schedule due to his football commitments, he maintained he would remember the backing offered by the institution and its employees.

He noted that the knowledge he gained, whether on the field or elsewhere, would remain valuable as he advanced in his sporting career.

The athlete achieved the record for youngest goalscorer in the league at the age of 16 years and 73 days during a fixture against Everton on March 14 this year.

He also voiced particular gratitude towards Mrs Crowley, Mr Gamester and Miss Antonello for their helpfulness, encouragement and support throughout his years at the school.

He stated these individuals had positively impacted his experience and that he would depart with treasured recollections and relationships he would forever value.

He expressed enthusiasm for upcoming opportunities while confirming he would consistently reflect on his Brentwood years with satisfaction and appreciation.
