One school has earned a place among the highest-achieving institutions nationwide.

The Bridge Academy in Hackney has been honoured with an Educational Outcomes Award by SSAT, The Schools, Students and Teachers Network, for placing within the top ten percent of non-selective schools across the country based on student performance in the 2025 key stage four examinations.

The accolade utilises the most recent achievement figures and forms part of SSAT’s nationwide review of government-funded educational institutions, drawing information from the Department for Education and Ofsted.

Chris Brown, the school’s principal, expressed that receiving recognition from SSAT for the second consecutive year was wonderful, crediting pupils’ efforts and staff members’ commitment while noting the institution took great pride in the accomplishment.

Sue Williamson, SSAT’s chief executive, extended warm congratulations to The Bridge Academy, attributing the achievement to exceptional instruction, remarkable assistance, and motivational management provided by educators, while acknowledging the profound impact made on students’ lives and offering thanks.

The Bridge Academy is situated on Laburnum Street and educates young people throughout the Hackney area.
