Research conducted by specialists at Pipers Corner School examining information from Henley Business School shows that more than one in three individuals aged 16 to 24 are currently managing additional income projects, placing them among the most engaged demographic for business activity in the nation. This level of participation surpasses what many older age groups achieve and comes close to matching the 25 to 34 age category, which reaches 37%.

According to Abigail Jones-Corcoran from Pipers Corner School, these side projects offer young people benefits beyond financial gain. They provide opportunities to explore personal interests, develop self-assurance, and cultivate abilities including charitable work that will prove valuable in later professional life.

Digital marketplaces such as Vinted allow teenagers to test ideas, understand money management, and grasp entrepreneurship fundamentals within a secure and manageable environment.

The Rise of Young Entrepreneurs: Big Results from Small Projects

1. Begin Modestly and Evaluate Concepts-Many adolescents believe they must have an ideal business plan before launching anything, yet actual experience proves more valuable than perfection. Launching on a small scale enables students to acquire important capabilities while discovering what resonates in practical settings.

This practical approach to business is evident in the school’s consistent performance in Young Enterprise competitions.
