The second season of Celebrity Traitors is set to air shortly, with numerous famous faces reportedly taking part in the programme.
The BBC has yet to officially announce the cast, though speculation continues about who might appear in the upcoming series.
Following the success of the original format, Claudia Winkleman’s celebrity adaptation proved incredibly popular with viewers.
Fans have been discussing online which stars they expect to see in series two and which ones they would welcome on the show.
On Reddit, one user suggested two British actors could be involved, claiming that Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Grant have expressed interest in appearing on the programme.
Another Reddit post highlighted Benidorm actor Steve Pemberton as a potential addition to the ensemble. The user noted that Pemberton would suit the Traitor role well, describing him as intelligent enough to defend himself if necessary while also being creative enough to provide entertainment value. The post added that his intelligence could work against him if selected as a Faithful, potentially leading to his early elimination due to others viewing him as suspicious.
According to the Daily Mail, Adolescence actor Stephen Graham is also said to be joining the cast. A source quoted by the newspaper indicated that the BBC is extremely keen to secure Graham’s participation, describing him as a significant signing for the programme.
Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher apparently suggested he had received consideration for the show, responding to a supporter on X with the message that he had been approached.
Danny Dyer, known for roles in Football Factory and EastEnders, is another name linked to the programme. The Sun reported that Dyer appears on the current lineup after previously declining an invitation to participate in the first series. According to the publication, an unconnected source revealed that Dyer had always been at the top of the show’s wishlist but showed no enthusiasm until witnessing how much enjoyment the programme generated during the previous autumn. The source stated that once Dyer’s attitude shifted, things moved quickly.
Other stars mentioned as potential participants include Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, comedian Daisy May Cooper and comedian Bob Mortimer.
A BBC spokesperson stated that the broadcaster would not be responding to speculation and that details regarding series two would be shared in due course.
